[几个时态的小结及练习]
一、一般现在时
1． 用法：
A． 表经常性或习惯性的动作。E.g. It seldom snows in Chongqing.
B． 表示现在的特征或者状态。E.g. She is always ready to help others. He loves sports.
C． *表普遍真理。E.g. Light travels faster than sound. The moon moves round the earth.
D．*用于时间状语从句或者条件状语从句中表将来。条件状语从句的引导词有：If, unless（除非）；时间状语从句的引导词有：when, before, after, as soon as, until, till…
E.g. We’ll go to the zoo, if it doesn’t rain tomorrow.
2．常用的时间状语或标志性语言：often, always, usually, sometimes, every…(every day, every year…), on Sundays,…
3．动词变化：当主语为第三人称单数时，谓语动词要求用三人称单数，加(-s, -es)
二、一般过去时
1．用法：表示过去某时发生的动作或情况。He did his homework yesterday.
2．常用的时间状语或标志性语言：last…(last spring, last April…), …ago(two days ago, a year ago,…), yesterday…(yesterday morning…), 具体的过去的时间(in 1996, on March 18, 2000, …)
3．动词变化：谓语动词要求用一般过去时态，加(-ed)
三、一般将来时
1．用法：表示将要发生的动作或情况。He’ll have a meeting tomorrow. I’m going to learn Japanese next term.
2．常用的时间状语或标志性语言：in…(in three months, in half an hour,…), next…(next week, next summer…), tomorrow…(tomorrow morning,…) in the future, 具体的将来的时间(in 2050, on October 1, 2010…)
3．结构：a. will/shall do b. be going to do
四、现在进行时
1．用法：
A．表示现在或现阶段正在进行的动作。Look! The girl is playing basketball.
B．少量位移动词可以用进行时表将来。(go, come, leave, fly, start, arrive, stay…… )
E.g. We are leaving for London next month.
C．*表示状态和感觉的动词，一般不能用于进行时态。（be, have, love, like, hate, want, need, hope, wish, know, understand, believe, suppose, feel, see, hear, find, …..）
E.g. Do you remember his name now?你现在还记得他的名字吗? Are you remembering his name now? (╳)
How many books do you have now? How many books are you having now? (╳)
She wants to see you now.她现在想见你。 She is wanting to see you now. (╳)
2．常用的时间状语或标志性语言：now, It’s 8 o’clock. look, listen
3．结构：be(am, is, are) doing
4．动词变化：要求用动词的现在分词形式，即加(-ing)。
五、过去进行时
1．用法：主要表示过去某个时刻正在进行的动作。We were picking apples when they arrived.
2．常用的时间状语或标志性语言：at that time, at three o’clock yesterday, when……
3．结构：be(was, were) doing
