一、Teaching contents:
1)、PEP小学英语第七册Unit2 Part B Let’s talk
Dialogue:
Amy:Excuse me。Where is the post office?
Wu:It’s east of the cinema。
Amy:And then ?
Wu:Turn left at the cinema,then go straight .It’s on the left. (学生对于词组turn left/right at, go straight,on the left有初步的了解,这节课主要训练他们的运用)
A class of 30 primary school, Grade 6 pupils.

1.教师准备本课时所用的磁带、VCD。

五、Teaching Steps:
1.热身(Warm-up)
A.把课室布置成一个小区,在四面墙上贴上各类公共场所,Hospital,KFC,Bank,Post office,Park,Cinema ect.
B.Teacher :Hello!Would you like to go to my house?
Studengt:Yes!
Teacher:Ok,let’s go. (老师发出directions ,turn left/right, go straight)
2.Presentation and Practice:
A.Set up a situation.
T:Boys and girls, welcome to my house.(老师去冰箱取饮料,但发现冰箱是空的。)My fridge is empty,we need some food.Who can help me to go to the supermarket to buy some food?
S:I can help you.
T:Thank you .Let me tell you the direction.(老师展示PPT.)为了使大家不要迷路,我先让大家熟悉这周围的环境)This is the post office,the supermarket is east of it. Go straight down Bridge Street . Turn left at Fifth Avenue.It is on your left.

Activity2
每个同学都会得到一张纸。一些同学是迷路的,纸上会有他迷路的地点和要到达的地点;有些同学是帮忙之路的,也有相应的地点。
Activity3
学生分对合作。每个同学准备两张相同的地图,学生A的地图上有街道路线图。而学生B的地图上没有标街道路线。学生A要告诉学生B如何从X地到达Y地。学生B用笔在地图上标出路线。在游戏结束前A和B不能互相观看对方的地图。活动结束后A和B核对地图。
