教学内容:PEP B.4/U.5/P.A Let’s learn
教学主题:Shopping

教学目标:
1.
能听懂、会说Can I help you? How much is this dress/…? It’s…yuan. It’s colourful/….等句型,并能在情景中运用。
2.
能跟录音朗读对话,并能分角色表演。
3.
培养孩子购物要节约的观念。
教学重、难点:
1.
能在虚拟的情景中运用Can I help you? How much is this dress/…? It’s colourful/….等句型进行交流。
2. expensive, colourful, ninety-nine
等词的发音。
教学过程:

Step 1  Warm-up
1. Greetings.

2. Review the numbers
2. Talk about teacher’s clothes.
  T: What is Miss Hang wearing today?

How do you think about my...? (Is it pretty/…?)
3. Look and describe four pictures, then chant with music.
  Four pictures: dress, skirt, jacket, T-shirt
  Chant: Look at this dress. It’s very colourful.
        Look at this skirt. It’s very pretty.
        Look at that jacket. It’s very expensive.
        Look at that T-shirt. It’s very cheap.

Step 2  Presentation
1. Ask and answer after the chant.
  T: The T-shirt is very cheap. Well, how much is it?
  S1: It’s 29 yuan.
2. Present a picture of anther T-shirt, and guess the price by choosing.
  T: How much is this T-Shirt? (Bb)
  (3 choices: It’s 35 yuan. / It’s 45 yuan./ It’s 55 yuan.)

3. Present a picture of a dress and guess the price
T: What’s this?
Ss: It’s a dress.(Ss spell and T writes “dress” on Bb.)
T: How much is this dress?
S1: (I think) It’s….
Present the answer: It’s ninety-nine yuan.
T&Ss: Oh, that’s expensive.

4. Ask and answer the price of some objects in pairs.

  Objects in CAI: T-shirt(20), skirt(30), jacket(70), dress(90),

               sweater(60), cap(10)hat(20)

Objects in the pocket: pen(25), pencil(1), bag(40), pencil-case(10), book(6)…

  Eg. S1: How much is this/that…?

     S2: It’s…yuan.

5. Act like an assistant and talk

T: (Present an assistant card) Now, I’m an assistant. This is my store. Who wants to buy from

   me?

(1) A talk between T and a good student.

   T: Can I help you?(Bb)

   S1: Yes. How much is this/that…?

   T: It’s…yuan.

   S1: It’s cheap/….

     

(2) Ask several Ss to be an assistant and talk

6. Lead into the talk

  T: The weather is getting hot. Amy and her mom go shopping today.

(1) Watch and listen

(2) Listen, number and choose

   First: Number the pictures

   Second: choose the right answer

    1) What does Amy want to buy(买)?

      A. a skirt     B. a dress

    2) How much is it?

      A. 99 yuan    B. 69 yuan

(3) Listen and repeat

(4) Act the talk, and then check some groups.

   

Step 3  Extension

  T: It’s warm. We’ll take a trip later. So let’s go shopping first.

(1) Present some stores like chothes store, bag store, food store and so on.

(2) Tell the Ss how to do and then free shopping

There are 6 stores and there are 2 assistants in each store. Now, we have 5 shopping groups, There is 200 yuan for each group. And each group should buy 6 different things from the stores in 4-5 minutes. Then talk about the things you buy with your friends.
(3) Report like this: The         is       yuan.
                It’s cheap/…
(4) Summarize: How much does each group spend on all the things they buy?

   

Step 4  Homework

1. Listen and read the talk 3 times, then try to act it.
2. Make a survey: to ask the price about your friends’ clothes.
