Unit3 My Friends

The First Period

I.Teaching aims(教学目标)

1.能听懂会说句型:Who’s he/she? My friend is strong. He has short hair.

2.能听说认读单词:long/short hair, thin, strong, quiet

3.  能适当利用一些形容词描述朋友.

II.Important points and difficult points(教学重难点)

1.能听懂会说句型:Who’s he/she? My friend is strong. He has short hair.

2.  能听说认读单词:long/short hair, thin, strong, quiet

3.  发音:friends, thin, quiet

4.  强调描述身体特征用strong而不用fat.

III.Teaching preparations(教学准备)

  1Pictures of the stars(名星图片)

  1Projector and pictures(投影仪和图片).

  2Recorder and cassataUnit 3Let’s learnA(录音机和磁带)

IV.Teaching procedures(教学步骤)

Step1 Warm-up(热身)

  1. Free talk with the students about the points learnt(自由交际).

1)       How many English books do you have?

2)       What colour is it?

3)       May I have a look?

4)       What’s in your schoolbag?

5)       What’s in the classroom?

6)       Where’s your seat?

  2. Let’s do of the Students’ Book III B.(做三年级英语下册Let’s do)

Step2 Revision(复习)

   Revise the following words(复习单词):

   eye, ear, nose, arm, leg, body, big, small, long, short

1.  Draw a picture on the blackboard to revise the words above(在黑板上画简笔画复习单词).

eye, ear, nose, arm, leg, body,

2.      Show more pictures to revise the words(出示图片复习单词):

big, small, long, short

Step3 Presentation(新授)

1.Lead-in(导入)

(1) Introduce the pattern(导入句型):

Who is he?

Introduce the pattern by asking the students’ names(询问学生名字并强调He is---,然后用Who is he?提问并帮助学生回答He is---,反复操练).

 (2) Practise by asking and answering in groups(小组问答操练).

Who is he? He is ---.

 (3) Practise using the pictures of the stars and introduce the new items(用明星图片操练并准备导入新语言点).

2.Lead-in(导入)

 (1) introduce the new words and the pattern using the pictures of the stars(用明星图片导入新单词和句型).

Thin, strong, He is strong.

出示姚明图片并板书He is tall.然后用其它图片导入并板书He is thin. He is strong.

(强调描述身体特征用strong而不用fat.)

    

(2) Practise by talking about the students in groups(小组操练并描述同学的身体特征).

  Who is he? He is---. He is thin/strong/---.

(3) Introduce the word quiet and practice using actions(用动作导入quiet 并操练).

3. Lead-in(导入)

 (1) Introduce the main pattern of this period(导入本课主句型).

He has ----.      She has----.(Emphasize the use of has 强调has的用法)

(2) Practice the patterns using the pictures or using the real objects in the classroom(用图片或实物操练主句型He has ----. She has----.).

   4.Lead-in(导入)

(1) Introduce the words by drawing the pictures on the blackboard(简笔画导入新词). hair, long/short hair.

(2) Practise talking about the students’ hair in groups (小组操练, 描述同学的头发).

5.Listen to the tape and correct the pronunciation(听音正音).

Let’s learn 录音,跟读,仿读.

6.Collaborative study (合作学习)

 Get the students to grasp the new items in groups using the cards and the pictures.

 (让学生运用卡片或图片操练并掌握新语言点)

Step4 Practice(巩固操练)

1.      Get the students to describe pictures using the new words and the patterns.(让学生运用图片操练新词和句型)

2.      Guessing game(猜迷游戏).

Describe the persons and get the student to guess their names(描述人物特征让学生猜出他或她的名字).

Step5 Production(应用提高)

   Get the students to describe their classmates using the new words and the patterns.

    让学生运用新词新句型描述同学的外貌特征.

   Do the exercises of the Activity Books(做活动手册上的听力训练).

Step6 Progress(拓展延伸)

1.      Help the students to summarize the important points learnt this period(帮助学生总结本课时的重点).

   Who’s he/she? My friend is strong. He has short hair.

    long/short hair, thin, strong, quiet

2.      Have a quiz about the points learnt this period(检测).

(1)   Listen and number(听音标号).

hair         thin         strong        quiet

(2)   Listen and judge true(T) or false(F)(听音并判断正误).

3.      Homework.

(1)   Describe the members of your families(描述家庭成员的外貌特征).
