Unit Six  What are these ?
一、Teaching objectives:
What are these? They’re (pears).
Are these (peaches)? Yes, they are. / No, they aren’t.
二、Teaching key points .
    The new words sentences.
Teaching difficult points:
1.Use the new words ask and answer.
      2.Sounds and words

Cards, pictures, tape , recorder
五、Teaching procedures:
The first period
一、Warming up.
1. Greetings.
2. Revise the words in unit5
3. Ask and answer
What’s that?
It’t a (brown) door.
Is that a (green) cat?
Yes, it is. / No, it isn’t.

Sing a song: What’s that?
三、 Presentation.
1
Hold up some real pears and say: I like fruit. Look! Pears,  I like pears. Pears, Pears. Students read the words after the teacher again and again.

Offer a pear to someone then ask :
Do you like pears?          S1: Yes, I do.

Use the method teach the other fruits: grapes, peaches……ect

Let students point to the picture and read the words.

Play a game:touch the words.

Hold up the pictures then ask and answer.
What are these?    They’re peaches

Point to the other fruits with students ask and answer:
What are these?          They are……

(Pay attention to add”s”)

(Point to pears.)    Are these pears?
Yes, they are.

Pair work.

Practise.
  The teacher read and the students write the correct number.

Listen to the tape and repeat.
四、 Homework.
Copy the new works.
教学后记:

1以游戏,活动形式复习,能激发学生兴趣,学生在活动过程中复习、巩固旧知识,效果好。
2
通过练习可知,学生对故事部分的内容掌握较好,基本都能互相开展对话询问,并能做出相应的回答。同时,也反映了学生对于重点句型不太熟练,有待加强练习。

部分学生对于新学句子 What are these? 与旧句子 What is this?以及他们的答句有区分不清的现象,有待下节课加强。


The second period.
一、Revision.
1Revise the words:
2Ask and answer:
What are these?         They are (pears).
Are they (peaches)?      Yes, they are.
二、Presentation.

T:(Point to pears) Are these peaches?    
No, they aren’t. They are pears.

Practice.
  Let students ask and answers each other.

Play a game.     Pass a message.

Listen to the tape and repeat page 29 and page 30.

Finish practice 1:
(1) Listen to the tape and write down the correct number.
(2) Check out, the answer.

Finish practice 2:
(1) Put the picture cards on the blackboard and ask:
What are these?   Are these pears?(Elicit responses)
(2) Listen and answer the questions in practice.2
三、Homework.
Listen and repeat.
教学后记:
     1 .  
学生的良好学习习惯日渐形成,能更好地调控课堂,提高教学效率。
2
学生学习积极性较高,大部分学生都能积极参与课堂,特别是在学习歌曲部分,大部分学生都能积极参与课堂活动,课堂气氛活跃,。
3
学生语音还有待加强,对于复数的发音,学生还存在一定的难度。

The third period.
一、Warming up.

Read and spell the words twice.

Point to the real things or pictures ask and answer.
What are these?       They are……
Are these …….       Yes, they are. / No, they aren’t.
What colour are they ?  They are…..

Play a game.(guess the words)
三、Presentation.
  1
Learn a song: What are these?
T:Let's Let's listen first.
Play the tape and point to each word and sentence as it is sung.
Divde Ss into two groups.
Group 1 sings the question and Group 2 sings the response.
All Ss sing the pears. Pears part.

Finish Activity 1:
(1) Read the words in Activity 1. after the picture.
(2)Connect the words and pictures by themselves.

Finish Activity 2:
(1) Look at the pictures ask and answer.
(2) Play a game. Let students play games in pairs.
三、Homework.
Sing a song.
1
大部分学生都能积极参与课堂活动,课堂气氛活跃。
2
通过平时的习得,大部分学生都形成了良好的学习习惯,因此在开展课堂活动时,学生都能积极配合,体现了教学中的师生互动性,效果好。
个别中下生的课堂纪律还有待加强,设法提高他们的学习积极性。
The fourth period.
一、 Revision.

Read the words.

Dectation the words.
二、 Presentation.
1
Let students practice three sounds.

Learn the words in page 34.

Listen to the tape and have Ss point to each word.
4
Listen again and repeat.
5
Help Ss if they have difficulty making the sounds.
6
Listen and chant.
(1) Play the tape once.
(2) Play the tape again and have Ss point to the cups, plums and boxes as they chant those words.
(3) Let’s chant together.
(4) Play the tape and have Ss chant along.
