Teaching steps:
Step 1 Warming up
T:We are having an English class now.What are we doing now?
(Help the students to answer: We're having an English class now.)
Step 2 Presentation
1. Show Ss pictures and ask:
What is he / she doing ? What are they doing?

2. 现在进行时态: 表示现在正在进行的动作.
结构:be (am, is , are )+ 动词现在分词(V ing )
现在分词的变化规则:动词+ing
1.一般在动词原形末尾加ing.
sleeping , drinking, eating, meeting, thinking
2.以不发音字母e结尾的动词,先去掉e,再加ing
dance—dancing, write—writing,close--closing, make--making
3. 重读闭音节中,末尾只有一个辅音字母,先双写这个辅音字母,再加ing
run--running, sit—sitting, swim—swimming, put—putting, get--getting
